About the Parameter and the Application
Dioctyl phthalate is a slightly smell oily transparent liquid with molecular formula C24H38O4, molecular weight 390.5, relative density (d2020) 0.986, water solubility ≤ 0.01% (25°C). It is the most widely used plasticizer, with good comprehensive performance and good compatibility with polyethylene, synthetic resin, nitrocellulose and rubber.
Dioctyl phthalate is widely used in the processing of PVC various soft plastic products, such as film, artificial leather, wire, cable, molded products, etc.; and also widely used in rubber, paint and emulsifier industries, can improve the resilience of products, reduce compression set, and have no effect on the vulcanization of rubber materials.
